Uploading books that you would like to sell on BookFusion is a quick and straightforward process. Start by logging in to your Author or Publisher account and you'll see your default book shelf dashboard. This is where you'll be able to view and access any previous uploads, but to add a new book you'll click the "Upload New Book" button in the top right.
You'll see a standard upload screen, and you can either click the "Select Files" button to browse and select the files manually, or you can drag and drop them straight from your computer onto this area of the page and they'll automatically upload. You'll get prompted when the books have successfully imported and you'll get prompted to return to your bookshelf to review them.
You'll see your newest uploads in the first positions on the dashboard, and if you click on the cover you'll be presented with a few extra options that will allow you to make sure they're all ready for your readers to start accessing. You can manually change the book's cover, update the book's details, preview it on your store's page, open it in the reader to see how it looks, or delete it if you didn't mean to upload that eBook to begin with.
To check the book's info that everyone browsing your store will see, choose the Update Book option and you'll see a screen like the below, full of options you can customize however you see fit. You can edit the book's basic details on this screen, as well as a number of other things:
- Choose to publish immediately or set a pre-order for a future release date
- Define Categories & Tags to help people find your book when searching the store
- Choose to display the uploaded book in your store or hide it until you're ready
- Enable or disable DRM and indicate the rights for the book
- Identify target audiences for your book
- Add a small sample file for a book preview (if desired)
- Set pricing and any geo differences
For more information on rights and pricing, check out this help article.
Additionally, if at any time you need to replace a current upload with a more updated eBook file, you can do that as well from this update screen by choosing the "Upload New Version" button at the top right of the screen.
When clicked, you'll get the below pop-up that advises when you updated the current version of the book and warns that if your updated book changes things that people have already highlighted or bookmarked it may impact those. This just means that if someone who purchased your book has highlighted something that you edited or removed in a future update, by pushing out that update it will impact that user's saved highlight.
Once you've made any updates need, just click the "Update" button at the bottom to save your changes. If you set the "Show in Store" to enabled, it'll be public and available for purchase immediately.

Hi! This is helpful; thank you. But I am wondering:
Is it possible to have an account as a reader and also as an author/publisher? I am signed up as a reader, but may have a book or books to publish in the future.
One more question: Is it possible to sign up with a real name, but publish here under a pen name, anonymously?
Thank you!
You can absolutely have both accounts, and when linked with the same email you'll be able to switch between them while logged in. :)
Everything is configured in your user profile, so you can choose what you want to be visible on your store's page with your published works, and the eBooks themselves have metadata you can update to indicate what author name you want shown.
