Part of the appeal of using BookFusion is the ability to read on just about any device, from the web to any Android or iOS mobile device, but we know that there are some amazing dedicated eReader devices like the Amazon Kindle that people still want to be able to use. To that end, we've made sure that you can still manage your library in BookFusion and read on your Kindle if you'd like, and this help article will guide you through sending eBooks from your BookFusion account directly to your Kindle.

Initial Kindle Configuration
Before you can send eBooks to Kindle from your BookFusion shelves, you'll need to make sure everything is setup properly. To get started you'll click on the "Send to Kindle" option in the left navigation menu and it'll show you the below screen that will link you to the Kindle settings in your BookFusion profile.
Once you click the "Kindle settings" link seen above, you'll be shown the settings in your profile that walk you through the configuration. You can also use this link to jump right there. This screen is where you'll be given a unique email address in step 2 that you'll need to input in your Amazon account and step 3 tells you how to input a unique email that Amazon gives you into the open field on this settings screen. Don't worry - we'll go over these in more detail below. :)
This next part will take place on the Amazon site, so navigate there and login, then use the menu option to go to the "Manage Your Content and Devices" page. From there you'll see some tabs at the top, and you'll want to choose the Preferences option to get where you need to be. You should also be able to jump straight to the Preferences screen using this link.
Scroll down on the page until you see the "Personal Document Settings" option and click that link.
That will expand the section and show you all the info we need in order to finish the configuration. To complete step 2 that was shown in the BookFusion settings page, copy that unique email address it showed you and then choose the "Add a new approved e-mail address" option on the Amazon page and paste it in the pop-up shown below, then click the "Add Address" button to save it.
Back on the Preferences page you should see a list of devices under the "Send-to-Kindle E-Mail Settings" section, so just look for your Kindle device in that list and copy the email address it has listed there for it; it will most likely include part of your name followed by an underscore and a few random numbers and letters that ends in an @kindle.com address. Once you've found the one you need and copied it, return to BookFusion and paste it in the field and click the "Update Settings" button.
Now all the setup is done and you can move on to actually sending books over to your device!
Sending Books to Kindle
With the setup work all done, now we can get to sending books over from BookFusion to Kindle. To get started just return to the "Send to Kindle" page using the link in the left navigation menu again and click on any books you'd like to select to send to your Kindle. You can select multiple at a time or just pick one, it's up to you. If you have a large library and don't want to scroll through to look for a book you can use the search or filter options to find the book(s) you're looking for more quickly. Once you have them selected, just click the "Send to Kindle" button at the bottom right corner and it'll start the process.
You'll see the page update and you'll get a small list at the top that shows any books you just selected to send, along with their status. They'll start out as Pending and quickly move to Finished as they get sent over, but if you see an error or failure show up, just revisit the setup instructions earlier in this help article and make sure you have everything setup properly.
Now you can take full advantage of the BookFusion platform and still enjoy your Kindle. Happy reading! :)
